Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), Yeddumailarm (AP) has announced notification for the recruitment of Project Assistants and Project Associates for a period of one year starting from 2012. Interested candidates can attend for walk in interviews for the following temporary positions in DIT sponsored project entitled 'Development of Prosodically Guided Phonetic Engine for Searching Speech Databases in Indian Languages'. Appointment will be on contract basis for a period of one year.
1) Project Associate : 2 positions. Consolidated Monthly Salary: Rs. 14000/-. Eligibility: Candidates need minimum of 65 percent marks in ME / M.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology.
2) Project Assistant: 3 positions. Consolidated Monthly Salary: Rs. 12000/-. Eligibility: Applicants should have minimum of 65 percent in BE / B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology.
Candidates with experience in signal processing and programming skills in MATLAB/C will be preferred. Selected candidates will have to work on various aspects in speech signal processing that leads to the development of a speech search engine. Interested candidates can attend for walk in interviews on March 11, 2012. Before that, there will be a screening test from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM on the same day.
